Come join Chicago Votes and Midwest Culture Lab at the MILA from 7-10PM for a special presentation where you can learn how you can receive funding for your creative ideas.
The last day to apply for the project is August 20th, so make sure to attend this special event to learn about how to secure your funding, and keep reading to submit an application.
Some background on the initiative:
The Midwest Culture Lab aims to share one thousand stories this Fall 2018 to increase the civic and political participation of young people in the Midwest. We are looking for artists, creatives, writers, musicians, and curators who are living in or from Ohio, Michigan, and Illinois to help us create stories that engage communities and tell untold stories.
Funding will range between $500 to $2000 per project and we welcome applications from individuals as well as collaborative creative teams. We define “Creative Content” broadly to include, but certainly not limited to in any way, the following:
