For those who have not heard of Klevah Knox, now is the time to get in tune with her music. Klevah and her camp had me out to cover an event of hers this past weekend that ended up being one of my favorite shows I have been too this year, called "The Experience".
To start out, let's get into the details of what "The Experience" is. Klevah put together and directed the entire event and it truly was an experience. The venue was full of fans, musicians, producers, painters, and all kinds of different types of artists all there to support each other. And this was the whole concept and idea of the show. The "GLDN" lifestyle is about being yourself and embracing your talents and flaws and being great for who you are. From the dope merchandise items that were for sale, to the paintings hanging around the room, to the friendly interactions between everyone the atmosphere was certainly on that could not be replicated.
On top of the atmosphere each artist on the bill came with their "A" game and helped make this event so great. Artists such as Plainro and Ausar Bradley simply killed their sets leaving the audience waiting for more. While other acts such as Cii La'Cole grabbed the crowds attention and held on to it with their great stage presence and well performed acts. However it was Klevah's performance that fully solidified just how successful the night had been. After taking loads of time to interact with fans and her audience Klevah proceeded to put on an out-of-this-world set that captivated listeners and left them with a sense of awe with the use of a live jazz band during her set and dropping some crazy freestyles out of the blue.
Klevah Knox is a true artist in every aspect of the word and helps to push everyone around her to be as great as they can be. I urge everyone to do what they can to make it out to The Accord April 1st for her performance as well as be watching for her upcoming release "Mother Nature". Thank you to Klevah, PS, and everyone who helped make this awesome event possible and allowing me to be a part of it. As well as a huge thank you to @TwoBrainz who did a fantastic job covering the event this evening.
