Piper Schad (@piperthefox) Chicago’s premiere streetwear designers will be showcasing their talent this week at the third annual Style Bias Fashion Week show. The event will take place this Thursday, October 20th at the Skyline Loft in Bridgeport. The event boasts 15 runway shows, an interactive studio, and a VIP lounge hosting food and cocktails. The featured streetwear designers, from all over the Chicagoland area, who will flaunt their visions via runway include Sir & Madame, Leaders 1354, Alexander Swain, Runako, Dxstrxct 7, Albert Ray, House of LeRenn, Aqua Vitae, IDEA Brand, Petite, Daniel Jacob, Jaelen Wylie, Thief.Thieif.Thief., Kites, Daniel Ponce, Kim Product, and Aqraba.
Style Bias is funded by PROjectUS: a fashion incubator training youth designers as young as thirteen. Up-and-coming Style Bias designers will begin the show and Chicago’s more established tastemakers will close out the night. You may recognize the work of some of these brands from the streets of Chicago, such as Sir & Madame’s classic beanies, Alexander Swain’s signature jeans, or the world famous LDRS tees. Unfortunately, the tickets have sold out, but, you can stay tuned for a recap!
