Written by: Alec Baumrind (@alecbaumrind) House of Vans is back at it again with the latest installment of their free summer concert series called Vans House Parties. This year, each headlining artist had the opportunity to curate the event they will be headlining, by hand-picking all supporting talent and creating a personalized visual art experience for attendees. This year, they've tapped Chicago's own Vic Mensa to kick off the concert series in their Chicago location. Vic went all in on curating his show by choosing openers such as The Pack and Kami. The Pack is a hip hop group from the west coast featuring artists such as Lil B, Young L, Stunnaman, and Lil Uno. Kami is a fellow Save Money artist and is from Chicago as well. Mensa has also tapped Floyd A Davis to create an immersive, multimedia art experience for the event. This show will take place at House of Vans on May 31st. Doors will open at 7 and the show will start at 8, so make sure to get there early. The show is also 18+ so make sure to bring a valid ID. RSVP for this event via the link below.
