JUGRNAUT AND THANKFUL FOR CHICAGO RELEASE "THANKFUL" SHIRTS TO FUND THE PEOPLE'S FREE FOOD PROGRAM9/15/2020 Written by: Prime Fortune Staff Our friends at Thankful For Chicago have been feeding the city all summer with The People's Free Food Program, which they launched after CPS stopped serving food to students at the end of May. Now, they've partnered up with Jugrnaut on "THANKFUL" shirts, with 100 percent of the proceeds going to Thankful For Chicago as it seeks to launch a free community restaurant on the West Side. The People's Free Food Program has served thousands of people in Garfield Park and at another location on the South Side, and they want to keep going with their donations of free groceries and meals, household essentials and baby products while they work to ope up their restaurant. They have to pay move-in fees, but are continuing service at their pop-up locations while fundraising. You can buy the shirts below, and you can also donate to Thankful For Chicago here — their current goal is $6,000!
