Urbana-based artist Adobo just dropped a single called “jambalaya”. It’s a reflective, inward-looking track and it’s the second track Adobo’s put out this year. It’s also the first single off his upcoming mixtape “analog”, which is dropping sometime soon.
LA producer Kiefer lent his talents to the production, crafting a lively, jazz-infused beat on which Adobo’s thoughtful lyrics pop over. Adobo gets to the bars from the gate, rapping, “my angel to the right said she can’t hold my light no more, my demon to the left said she can’t hold my vice no more, so what the hell I do, I feel like I need to ignite the core”. You can stream “jambalaya” on Adobo’s Soundcloud with the link below, and be on the lookout for “analog”.
