One of our latest finds is also one of our most memorable in the form of “1st String” by Florida rapper Aystro.
The production THIRTY unleashes from the get go perfectly sets the scene for the track, as its dark and mysterious keys build up to a forceful release of drum patterns that provide a stark contrast to the calm, cool, and collected attitude of the artist. Aystro’s lyrics on the other hand tell the true tale, as he immediately rhymes “I was on that block, servin’ rock, buckin’ opps/Forty in my pocket, take off like a rocket”. Throughout the track, his melodic flow really entrances on the first listen, and proves why he truly is a “trending topic” in conversation. Aystro proves the bench is not a lifestyle he aims to live, and with records like these, he shows he can truly be a “1st String” starter.
Aystro is keeping his next move secret, but check back here for more and peep the new single above.
