When did you make your first beat?

I made my first beat when I was 17, back in 2005-2006 on Acid Pro, I sampled "Total Eclipse Of The Heart", I thought it was groundbreaking haha…

What influenced you to get into the production business and who inspires your style? 

Well my homie Plug (@GO_Plug1) was already making beats when I met him my junior year at Morton East High School, I watched him and I learned how to put sounds, melodies and notes together on the keyboard without learning how to read music. I'm inspired by a lot of musicians from Pink Floyd, the Beatles, to Timbaland and Kanye (of course).

What music do you typically listen to and who are some of your favorite artists? Favorite album?

I listen to EVERYTHING... like literally everything from 70's Soul & classic Rock, House Music, hella Spanish music, R&B, Trap, all that shit. Some of my favorite artists are Jay-Z, Gucci Mane, Missy Elliot, Biggie, R. Kelly, Pink Floyd, the Beatles, E.L.O. My favorite album is probably Best of Both Worlds with R. Kelly and Jigga, I don’t care what anyone says that album is still fuckin flames right now!!!

Who are some of your favorite artists to collaborate with in Chicago?

Vic Spencer, Joey Purp, and Plug. I also collaborate with producers too, shout out Doc Da Mindbenda we’ve got some anthems together.

If you could choose one artist to collaborate with from Chicago, who would it be? Nationwide? Why?

I'd love to work with King Louie because he's got it man, he kills every beat... and nationwide, Gucci Mane because he's truly a trap god and the genius behind the boomin’ Atlanta sound right now.

If you could bring one rapper back to life who would it be?

This is a tough one... but I have to go with Biggie.

Are there any projects dropping in the remainder of 2015 that you are looking forward to?

That new Kanye album, Future x MikeWill project, Chri$ Spencer project, WhiteGzus, Joey Purp solo shits, Smino Brown... oh and Monster Mike's mixtape, he's cold...

Tell me about the projects you have been working on and when we can expect more music to drop.

I'm currently working with Chris Crack on his upcoming projects, WhiteGzus/Gzus Piece solo project and I’m planning on cookin’ up some more shit with Vic Spencer soon. I want to drop another instrumental project, you might hear all this before the year is over.
