CP X Duffle Bag Buru X Luke Almighty — now that’s a trio one could get used to hearing. They teamed up this week for CP’s single, “NEW 2 ME”.
Luke threaded out a scenic beat with airy horns mixed in with timely reverberating drums, while CP and Buru trade off flows about how this music stuff now is basically just the same thing, different day. CP raps about how he makes his moves, spitting, “band up all day get no sleep, whole gang with me in the cut so deep, we pull up in the matte black Jeep, big tints on the whip so they don’t peep”. Buru comes in on the second half of the song to deliver a verse that complement’s CP’s well before the beat fades out. Be sure to give “NEW 2 ME” a listen on CP’s Soundcloud with the link below.
