The Austin Vesely, Ian Eastwood & Chance The Rapper directed visual for Social Experiment's "Sunday Candy" sends you into a theatrical pseudo-nostalgia. The setting reminds of Grease; 1950's vibes, letterman jackets, diners, choreographed dancing, and all. This is more of a short film than anything else, honestly; which is not too far fetched since Chance's acting debut in "Mr. Happy".
Austin Vesley demonstrates his film skills vividly, illustrating a music video as an actual musical; which is quite fitting for the dramatic track. This song has a holy message, as "Sunday Candy" summons us all to church, Christian or not.
Overall, the utopian, harmonious sound created by Donnie Trumpet & The Social Experiment, complimented by the angelic voice of Milo, was executed beautifully in visual form. Check out the groundbreaking visual below.
