My boy just sent me this new track "Seven Pounds" to check out by a new up and coming artist Eyezik.
Eyezik is the stage name for Isaac Padilla, an 18 year old out of the suburbs of Chicago. Eyezik has been making music for 3 years now and spent that time developing his own unique style of music and flow. He took inspirations from his old love for rock music to help shape his hip hop flow. After three years of doing local shows and gaining a solid hometown fan base, Eyezik decided it was time to take the next step with his music and his brand. Teaming up with Drake Connor, who produced Kembe X's "ADD", Connor and Eyezik have been working for over a year now on a project they are excited to debut. The project is currently untitled but has a projected late June release date and Eyezik and Connor believe their new sound is ready to make waves in the hip hop industry. "Seven Pounds" is the first single that they have released off of the upcoming project and can be heard below. This track is exactly what Eyezik told us it would be. The hook has a 90's rock n' roll feel but the verses showcase the truly unique style of hip hop Eyezik brings to the table. Listening to this track has its audience only imaging the kind of reaction it would get live, and I could easily see "Seven Pounds" becoming the next Chicago radio hit. Eyezik has paid his dues and is ready to show us what he has, and his first track released proves he has carved his own unique style. Make sure to listen to "Seven Pounds" and to keep checking back with us at Prime Fortune to peep Eyezik's newest tracks.
