A week ago Femdot finally blessed us with his video for 0’something, one of his hit songs off his latest album, Delacreme Vol. 2. Femdot links up with Cole Bennett once again for a simple and neat video. Although the video doesn’t feature any of the flashy edits that we are used to from Cole we do see some very familiar aspects.
Such as the use of multiple close up on Femdot and one that seems to be the warehouse that Cole seems to shoot many of his videos in. The video features multiple scenes deferring from close-ups of Femdot, to Femdot on a stage, and even Femdot jamming in a car with his friends.
On the song side of the video, Femdot executes to perfection. He has consistently shown in the past that he is one of the best lyrical rappers out of Chicago right now. Some of my favorite lyrics are “Since 16 my footwork been that crazy that's Freddy Adu” and “Cause when you try to trail blaze they try to Sam Bowie you”. Fem continues to show that he's smooth with his words and can throw pop culture references at his fans left and right. I recommend listening to his 2018 album Delacreme Vol. 2 streaming on all major services.
