Chicago rapper and recent DePaul graduate femdot. is back with “Delacreme 2”, the follow-up to his 2013 project “Delacreme” and his first project since 2017’s “the20/20hour.” Femi digs deep, painting the picture of his life and imparting his message, bar after bar.
He speaks on the struggle of being a person of color in a country where minorities are all too frequently overlooked and targeted by those running institutions of power. On “Empty Bottle”, his bars scratch the soul as he speaks on those who have fallen victim to oppression, rapping, “I drown my thoughts in the liquor, and pour out some for my n****s, who would’ve been right here with us, but they just got trapped in the system of three-fifths, for all my n****s who can’t be here, said I pour out three fifths”. Listen to it, feel it, be inspired by femdot.’s seasoned, almost uncanny lyrics and sound. Stream “Delacreme 2” on femdot.’s Soundcloud with the link below.
