Joey Bada$$: Christ Conscious/No Regrets

Joey Bada$$ releases the first visual from his debut album “B4.DA.$$” entitled "Christ Conscious."  This visual is full of glaring flashes of sacred geometry, which help create the theme of Christ Consciousness (the highest state of enlightenment).  We see Joey and his Pro Era crew hit the streets, basements, and rooftops of New York in true old school hip hop fashion.  While preserving the old school culture he is still able to put a new age enlightened spin on the boom bap instrumental. 

Also check out the short film entitled “No Regrets”, a collaborative effort from Green Label (Mountain Dew online culture mag) and Joey Bada$$ which was released earlier this summer in promotion for his debut album.  The film recreates Joeys early rap grind with a futuristic time traveling twist and a subtle love story undertone.
