Nashy might only be sixteen years old, but the talent evident in the Florida rapper’s latest EP, DeafWorld, might be showing his stepping stone to success as one of the south’s rising rookies.
For his age, Nashy has a very strong and identifiable voice on each of the three records here, while even taking the stage behind the boards on the last track “sister”. It blends seamlessly with deaf’s production on the intro “internet”, where the right balance of the latest trap sound to takeover Soundcloud’s waves is mixed in with Florida’s video game sounding production to create three special tracks rooted within the state. Meanwhile, nasty’s addicting flow allows him to wade over the production as line like “I’m the type to get the guap and you the type I’m laughing at” float of the tongue with such poise at the age.
This is the first we are hearing of nashy & deaf, but we doubt it will be the last. Peep DeafWorld and be on the lookout for more.
