Daylight Tone is back on our pages today with the premiere of his latest track, “100”. Only his fourth song out, “100” is another gem from Daylight, who recently moved from Chicago out to Hawaii. Ever since, he’s been putting out quality, and this one’s no different. Daylight applies his flow over upbeat, guitar-laced production from Hanakatoba, speaking about a relationship that’s run its course.
Daylight raps, “keep it Benjamin, your lies don’t equal innocence, I’m sick and tired you penny-pinchin’ my dividends” and delivers on the memorable, catchy hook, “I do not, (no no, I don’t no I don’t no I don’t) give no f***s ‘bout no subtweets that I see on Twitter”. Daylight Tone is carving out his own unique style and approach to music, and “100” is an excellent addition to his young catalogue. Be sure to keep an eye out for more from him in the future and take a listen to “100” on Daylight Tone’s Soundcloud via the link below.
