There’s no stopping Vela Seff, at least not from what we’ve seen in recent months as the Chicago artist has unleashed a steady stream of new content. Tonight we’re here to premiere the Sick Sad World/Decent Militia artist’s latest, “She Love Me, She Love Me Not”.
The three-track EP is the prelude to Vela’s R&B project, and on it, he vocalizes his vulnerabilities to the tune of the hypnotic production of Nancy Love, Tombo, Fambo and Jasper. Nancy and Fambo combine rattling drums with some resonant keys on “CONFESSIONS PT. 3”, on which Vela really opens up his mind. He raps, “you the reason why I’m stuffin’ woods to keep from cryin’, swervin’ through traffic straight speedin’ to them lies, I can’t stop f***in’ with you baby even if I tried, you ask me, ‘what is wrong with you?’, I’m lyin’ every time, I wanna say I love you but I always change my mind.” You can stream “She Love Me, She Love Me Not” on Vela Seff’s Soundcloud below.
