Chicago rapper Satchel Stokes is back on our pages today with his new project, “WhereIsSatchelStokes?”. Stokes is both defiant and celebratory on the project, which explores topics from his newfound freedom after being released from prison to getting back to the money.
On “21 Reform”, which features (and is produced by) frequent collaborator Justiiice, Satchel raps in his signature autotune, “it’s p**** n****s set you up for the free and p**** n****s set you up for the cheese, confetti mozzarella, all of this lettuce, feel like all these n****s out just to get me, can’t with f*** with n****s who actin’ like b****es and can’t f*** with b****es who actin’ like chickens”. The ten track project features the likes of Chicago artists Taylor Bennett, $ike the Drug, Sydny August as well as talented area producers Justiiice, 5heriff, CEO and Void Savage. Be sure to give “WhereIsSatchelStokes?” a listen below with the link to Stokes’ Soundcloud.
