The sky opened up on July 4th and unveiled a cosmically creative masterpiece titled "2K47" from the Chicago trio Hurt Everybody. The whole tape bleeds musical ingenuity and a variety of unforgettable hits are proof of Hurt Everybody's neverending creative continuity.
Carl, Mulatto and Supa Bwe have done it yet again with "2K47", with features/production credits ranging from Saba, Alex Wiley, Mick Jenkins, Twista, Abel Gray, Khori4, RIO, Twin Peaks, Logan, Flight, and Zen Zan. The tape is veritably versatile with go hard tracks like 3K47, Social Network (Gang), YUNO, Crystal Pounds to the other more smooth & soulful tracks like Sandstorm, Summer Kings, Tweaken, and Stay Awake.
Hurt Everybody's music is poetic anarchy in motion, their music is always melodically multifaceted and definitive in its own nature. 2K47 is a reflection of not only their music but the everyday life they're experiencing. Carl and Supa both using their expansive rhythmic vocabulary to touch upon these points with Mulatto putting his all into passionate production. Another interesting aspect of this project is how all three members of Hurt Everybody contributed their own production skills on each track. What l love most about Hurt Everybody is that they are truly in their own lane and are committed to providing alternatively beautiful sounds for the fans. Hurt Everybody is currently on tour so be sure to check their official website http: www.hurteverybody.com for tour dates, merchandise, and links to more of the group's ever expanding discography.
