Lucki Eck$ commemorates his 19th year of life by unveiling his masterpiece "X".
What I love the most about Lucki’s progression since the releases of Alternative Trap in 2013 and Body High in 2014, he isn’t uncomfortable altering the criteria of his craft to creatively stand out from other artists. Lucki Eck$ is poetically potent and melodically mischievous on this tape.
With only two features from his 197 brother Ran$ah and Chicago's own Chance The Rapper. The production credits include Boathouse, Plu2o Nash, Young Chop, Imfamous Legends, Bulletproof Dolphin, and even Lucki Eck$ himself who produced three tracks. With great tracks such as "Mia Wallace" and "Lowlife" where Lucki denotes his plug, his woman, and even designating himself as a lowlife as the song precedes to gravitate your brain with bass. The XAN MAN also gives us part two to "Finesse" a song from Body High that is definitive sign of the Lucki's growth. Lucki exhibits impressive production skills with what sounds amazingly reminiscent of some early 90s UGK production which makes this tape so much more fucking superb. I hope this is a sign we’ll see more producer credits from Mr. Eck$ because “X” is perfection. Chicago is flourishing so beautifully and with that being said “X” should definitely be queued up for those crazy summer nights. Listen to The Rap Game's "Mr Perfect” Lucki Eck$ keep it cool like Curt Hennig on this new project "X".
