Chicago mainstay Supa Bwe finally has his moment. He just put out his first solo album in “Finally Dead”, and the project is a monumental step in his career. He’s been making music for over ten years and has certainly learned a lot in that time, and he applies some of these lessons learned over the years to this album.
On the John Scott-produced “Still Can’t Find Happiness”, Supa spits, “my ego let my soul betray, had to learn to meditate, cause how much can one mortal take? Medusa on my a** tryna make me face my past but I’m stoned today”. From front to back, the project is stacked with the genre-bending, explosive Supa Bwe that longtime fans have come to know and love, and for new listeners, the project is a superb first look at an artist who has carved out his own place in the underground rap scene. With production from great talents like Scott, Luke Almighty, TayMasterChef, LordFubu, Jay-R Beats and more, Supa is able to capitalize on the eclectic beats and give listeners a one-of-a-kind project.
