Today, we’re throwing it back four years to 2013 and singer Kehlani’s “ANTISUMMERLUV”. It’s an anthem for those who are scared of love and what falling in or out of it means. Kehlani melodically floats over soft, guitar-laced production that makes it easy to picture the singer walking down a beach filled with bittersweet thoughts.
Kehlani sings, “we’ll grow apart and begin to stop talking, I’ll never forget those nights at the pier, or the first times our lips got to locking, and I don’t want a love that is only temporary”. Whether you’re a Kehlani stan or are unfamiliar with her music, “ANTISUMMERLUV” is a solid representation of her artistry and aesthetic.
