Tink- "One In A Million"

Timbaland is quoted, stating he had a dream Aaliyah spoke to him saying, "Tink is the one!" 

After hearing this strong statement from the producer who was closest to her, I had to check out this Tink chick. Would Tink live up to this hype, at least by those comparisons? 

The first song I dived into was "Around the Clock", and it definitely had me in awe as she completely demolished the Timbo produced extravaganza. But, it still left me pondering; where is that harmony and passion in the voice flawlessly exuded from the heart in Aaliyah? From introduction, I thought we should be comparing Tink to Minaj; if we're going bar for bar, which would be an incredible debate for the ages when it comes to female MCs. (My vote will be for Tink though I still respect Nicki. Just give it some time). 

Finally, I received this link and after hearing Tink's "One In A Million (Remix)", I think Aalyiah would be proud of her. It brings back memories: vibing out to the original jam; and makes me want to put on "Age Ain't Nothing But a Number" and listen to old tunes like "Back and Forth".
