Tyler, the Creator’s new album, Cherry Bomb, has just released online and the Kanye West and Lil Wayne-assisted “SMUCKERS” is already a standout track.
Tyler covers a vast array of topics for his part, ranging from Donald Sterling to lifting cows in order to raise the stakes, before Kanye comes in to steal the show with a lengthy feature verse packed with quotables from Chicago’s own. ‘Ye raps about seeing 2Pac in a dream, but not before reminding everyone about checking Nike. Following a beat change, Tyler and Lil Wayne trade verses to close out the song, and Weezy doesn’t fail to deliver. Each of the artists has a solid part individually, but it’s the combination of their unique styles over Tyler’s production that makes “SMUCKERS” a must-listen.
