Chucky Ar La is delivering his long-awaited, debut single, "Heavn," meticulously contrived into his solo forte, after spearheading the well-adored, "Thy Neighbors" band for the past five years. He is indeed an undeniable talent, as time has said exclusively. However, Chucky Ar La is a name that ties in with his five-year development because of the Gaelic translation, of Ar La, which means "our day will come."
The beautifully composed track features an indie grunge genre, complimented by the help of his past band-mate and natural-born bassist, Ramon Bonifacio.
Reiterating the gradual process of becoming a solo act, Chucky Ar La and I had the chance to strike up a spontaneous conversation at a social gathering in the Spring of 2016. I coincidentally had asked about the meaning behind the name, and Chucky showed signs to me that he was in no rush to develop what he, in my opinion, has formed an artistic baseline in all senses. It makes perfect sense that this single is the kick-off to the campaign for his upcoming 'DESPERADO' album which is set to release in 2019.
Finally–something equally worth noting, the single is accompanied by the moving visual, directed by the extremely gifted, Ernest Kabashi.
