Qari and Mulatto have been been long time collaborators since their Hurt Everybody days. These two friends have been through it all, so who better than to so eloquently speak about going through “The Motions” than Qari over such melodic, string laden production from Mulatto in the new J Salz & Lone Wolf visuals.
Qari seems as poised as ever, harnessing his signature laid back, cold and calculated flow to go through the motions he has faced over the years. How all the “Hurt Everybody fans still asking for Potion[s]”, the long lost project that was supposed to be the last project from the trio. How he’s been “going solo” these past efforts and how that took some adjustments, but Qari isn’t “riding on the waves” to speed up the process. It’s still a classic, damn near signature style of purely poetic honesty that has never faded from the duo even when the bright lights attempted to fade their art’s colors.
It didn’t take long for Qari and Mulatto to gear up to the change of pace, but it did to build up a project. 2017 will finally see that as their collaboration project Space Jam drops on the 15th of this month. Peep “The Motions” below and enjoy.
