Sylvan LaCue is back with a Jay Z inspired single title “5:55” , releasing the single to motivate any individuals who are lost on their path. He uses “5:55” in the sense of numerology, meaning a positive, big change will be entering your life so be prepared!
The 4-minute songs gives you a glimpse into the personal emotions of LaCue; diving into self-reflection and healing while keeping an optimistic outlook. LaCue accomplishes this without making the knowledge he’s spewing come off corny. Some of the lessons he preaches are to always put your best foot forward, find balance, & last but not least, to get back on your feet after a fall down. Definitely hear some Kendrick Lamar inspiration, from the ‘Good Kid, Maad City’ violins, to the passion behind the flow. For the visuals, LaCue taps into nature - choosing to shoot during sunset with a big city view as a backdrop, invoking inspiration into the watcher. From the visual to the audio, the vibes give you a sense of relief. Enjoy this energy by watching the visual above!
