One of Chicago’s rising stars from 2016 has been making quite a number of appearances early this January, and now Warhol.SS has a track of his own with the Stoopid Xool produced “Smoke My Dope”.
Carried by heavy bass laden production, Warhol’s flow bounces from speaker to speaker with his raspy vocals adding an extra element of grit to each verse. Smoking his dope and “serv[ing] these fiends” becomes something more of a command with such a voice, and each bar has extra weight to it because of that.
While it is unclear what Warhol plans to do in 2017 in terms of a full length project, his countless features and loosies like “Smoke My Dope” seem to be a ceaseless stream as of now. Peep the track below.
