Music is the gift that keeps on giving, and at this rate Chicago is the fucking Santa Claus of this shit people. Another young talent has come out of the city by the name of Yung Dutch, with his new Lowkey-produced banger “SIRENS”.
With some trap heavy production soaked in booming bass by Lowkey, Dutch opts for the laid back approach to the track, contrasting not only the energy of the beat but the connotation of “sirens” to the average listener. Decked out in a Supreme shirt and Nudie jeans, Dutch raps about “serving fiends” and “hitting stains”, concluding that Chicago’s violence keeps him silent until it finally cracks him. The hunter then becomes the hunted as Dutch ends the track with the ominous bar “Til we start a riot/I don’t hear no sirens”.
Yung Dutch is coming into 2017 on a good note, so as we wait to see what he has planned for the rest of the year, peep “SIRENS” below.
